Dayspring Village, Inc. is a licensed 94 bed Limited Mental Health Assisted Living Facility that has served adults with schizophrenia and schizo-affective disorders since 1987.

The facility is family owned and operated and is located on 15 acres, 1/2 mile south of the Georgia/ Florida stateline in beautiful Boulonge, Florida.

Douglas Adkins is the Executive Director and has served as in this position since 1989. Mr. Adkins is a recognized advocate and leader in the area of managing adults with schizophrenia and is an on call facility administrator working to solve problems.

Dayspring Village, Inc. is a family focused facility that brings a well trained staff, a rural setting and the benefits of a structure residential setting.

From the day of admission, the staff will work with each resident and their case manager to develop a living routine that will help promote their psychiatric and physcial health that will serve to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.

Dayspring Village, Inc. has served state funded residents and private pay residents since 1987. The facility has a cooperative agreement with a local community mental health agency ( Northwest Behavioral Health Services ). There are four full time mental health case managers assigned to the residents at DSV.

Each resident works with their assigned case manager and facility staff to develop a community living support plan that will detail the services to be provided, who will provide the services and how frequently per Florida Statutes 394.4574.

Dayspring Village offers three meals per day, semi private residential accomodations, laundry services, assistance with medications, assistance with personal care, supervised shopping trips and a christian life ministry for the residents.
